Cultural Coalition’s mission is to connect communities and generations to ancestral knowledge and practices through artistic cultural preservation and programs that celebrate Chicano, Latiné, and Indigenous heritages.
The artistic activities of Cultural Coalition aim to educate, promote and develop Indigenous programs and artists in the Phoenix area, simultaneously preserving, producing, and presenting a culturally significant and rich tradition.
Cultural Coalitions programs include a storytelling festival, hands on art experiences, musical assembly, and performance art.
Additionally, Cultural Coalition provides a free After School Art Program for over 100 youth living in a low-income housing complex and its surrounding neighborhoods.
Provided is a free meal from St. Mary's Food Bank, homework help, and enriching artistic activities that range from visual arts, performing arts, and the art of healthy living.
M3F partners with Cultural Coalition on their MIKIZTLI: Día de Los Muertos Festival where the proceeds go to their after school program.
